Swine flu vaccination
Swine flu vaccination is now available at our surgery on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It is recommended for people
“at risk”; this would include those with chronic illnesses, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems. We also suggest that
travellers to the northern hemisphere (where the risk is high in winter) consider vaccination. The actual cost of the vaccination
is covered by the Commonwealth Health Department. In our experience to date, very few people have experienced significant side effects.
Hay
fever and allergies
Spring and summer is a time when hay fever and allergies are rife. You might consider the use of our homeopathic
spray – Breathe Easy – which is often effective in controlling the symptoms of these disabling conditions. Additionally vitamin C
and fish oils can be of use.
Travelling?
This is also the peak travelling period. Remember that we operate a travel clinic and consider
timely immunisation.
Partying?
Although we do not encourage intemperate behaviour, it is worth noting that homeopathic nux vomica and
herbal silymarin can be of use in helping in the recovery of an injured liver!
Summer holiday hours
The clinic will be open over the
summer holiday period - excluding public holidays.
Dr Ivor Zetler will be on leave from 10-21 December.
Dr Ritoo Chhabra will be on

The doctors and staff wish all our patients, present and prospective, a safe, enjoyable and healthy
festive season and hope the coming year will be kind to you.
