Dr Chhabra has a special interest in integrative medicine, which is an approach to healthcare that incorporates natural therapies
into the practice of modern medicine. She uses a range of health care practices that show the most promise. Modalities used include
bio-identical hormones, acupuncture, homeopathy, nutritional medicine, and herbs.
Health problems seen today are too complex for one modality to work effectively so we need to combine different approaches to allow the body to repair and heal. Dr Chhabra has done further training in acupuncture and nutritional medicine and has post-graduate qualifications in homeopathy. She is a member of the Australian Medical Association and is a visiting medical officer at Balmain Hospital. She has a specific interest in women’s and children’s health issues.
