Towards an extended and active lifespan

IM is a health care model which combines mainstream medical therapies with complementary and alternative medicines for which there is some high quality scientific evidence of safety and effectiveness.

The principles of Integrative Medicine are:

A partnership between patient and practitioner in the healing process.

Appropriate use of conventional and alternative methods to facilitate body’s innate healing.

Consideration of all factors that influence health.

A philosophy that neither rejects conventional medicine nor accepts alternative therapies uncritically.

Recognition that good medicine should be based in good science, be enquiry-driven and be open to new paradigms.

Integrative medicine focuses on biochemical individuality, metabolic balance, ecological context, genetic predisposition and lifestyle patterns. Aim of IM is to achieve the best possible level of health to which one can realistically aspire.

Overall treatment concepts:

Total body homeostasis with exercise, dietary manipulation and meditation.

System integration and homeostasis with hormone modulation, detoxification, immune support and nootropics.

Working at a DNA and cellular level to combat glycation, inflammation, oxidative damage and methylation.
